Someone I met on Last.fm pitched my song "The Light" to the list and got me in.
I feel so blessed my song has gone this far. The response from fans has been amazing.
It gives me great pleasure to hear that people enjoy what I do

Not bad, not bad . It sounds a bit homemade, but noone says that's bad. That's also something interesting.
"I need The Light (db Remix)" is the best for me. Even though it's remix. Specially first part has interesting climate, but also part with the beat is good. Song sounds a bit like Depeche Mode. Only the ending not so well (probably because it's remix).

Yes it is homemade. I do it all myself at home with very little equipment.

I know it's homemade, 'cause it can be heard . I know sth about that, I remember what problems we've got with my friends recording drums (we had only mics for vocal).
I wasn't listening too carefully but I think Piotr Baron mentioned Vancouver radio and perhaps even talked to someone from there before playing the song.
Now I wish I had paid more attention then.
Do you know the name of the radio station in Vancouver that would be connected with the Polish community.

No I don't think there is.
North America is very controlled by the big labels.
I couldn't even get a station in my small town to play one of my songs because they are owned by big companies that tell them what music to play.
The internet is great though, people all over the world can enjoy my music.

The song is about a drug addict sitting at the side of the road wondering if she will be able to make it another day.
It is from a true experience. There was a woman that sat by the road all day close to the office I work at and she seemed to be doing drugs.
So I wrote a song about what her experience may be and how she might feel.
No I just looked for a picture of a lady sitting on the side of the road. I found that picture that was free to use and it was perfect. I have wanted to thank the person for the picture but I can't find an email address for him.

Actually a few people have asked to do that. I think it would be a good idea. I just need to write lyrics in English for it and re-record the vocals.
I have a lot of other ideas on the go right now for the new album. I shortlisted 19 ideas to work on. I've been putting in a few hours before bed at night so it might be a while
